Back in 1965 I was given the option of going to a birthday party or staying at home to watch the first episode of Thunderbirds. You can guess what happened! Similarly my younger bro developed a liking for all things Gery Anderson and recently asked if he could have a Thunderbird One for his birthday. Two models followed! Bachmann re-released the old Aoshima kits a few years back. and although they have one or two gimmicky features they build into pretty good replicas and are great fun to paint and weather.
